As member of the Gilde van de Brugse Chocolatiers (‘Guild of Bruges Chocolate Makers’), the Sweertvaegher chocolate shop helped maket he biggest ‘chocolate’ swan in the world. The swan, symbol of the city of Bruges, is also the symbol of the collaboration between the chocolate makers of Bruges. It was the piece de résistance at Choco-laté, the Bruges chocolate festival that was held from 6 to 10 April 2007.
